The puppies are shaded sable or tricolor and have either full length or bob tails. All puppies are expected to be biddable, physically and emotionally sturdy, and have a generous spirit and work ethic. Prior to moving to their forever homes, puppies will be registered with the English Shepherd Club and UKC, have received their 1st vaccines at 6 and 8 weeks and worming at 6 and 8 weeks (or more depending on veterinary guidance for the litter). The puppies will be evaluated with the Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Test and test results will be made available to potential new owners to aid in the selection process and knowledge of each individual puppy. Puppies are handled daily by their caregivers and by children under close supervision. The puppies have been well started on ProPlan puppy food with supplemental eggs and raw, meaty bones. The puppies were raised indoors until they were robust enough to be moved to an outdoor pen and covered area. Beginning potty training has been started with regular time in the pen/out of the pen routine by 6 weeks. All puppies have been introduced to car rides, walks that include a variety of terrain and footings, new sounds and smells, and safe first experiences crossing shallow water. A flock of chickens is housed on the property and the puppies have been acquainted with poultry across a woven wire fence.
Puppies should be picked up by their new families when they are between 8 and 10 weeks of age. The total adoption fee is $800 per puppy with a nonrefundable deposit due by the you’re your puppy is 2 weeks old and the remaining balance due at pick up or prior to the shipping date if the puppy is to be shipped by air. A Puppy Contract and Bill of Sale will be signed by both the buyer and breeder stating the terms of the transfer of the puppy from Breeder to Buyer.
