When Roper & Riker's litter arrived in 2022, I knew then that I wanted to keep one of the females. I had my eye on one of the other girls when Rae chose me and let me know that she should be staying here. I can't say that I have regretted allowing her to make that decision for me. She is definitely my girl! Rae is our fifth generation of ES being raised here.

Rae is a very loving girl, smart as a whip, has a delightful sense of humor, has become our number one varmint eradicator in the backyard and woods area and will track squirrels through the trees as well as large predatory birds in the sky. She is currently learning agility and I am hoping that she can participate in the October trial this year. Like her mom, Rae is also a talker and somewhat of a licker. Like her dad, Rae tends to stay with us when unleashed in the unfenced front yard. Oh, and she loves to play with her brother Jake when he comes over for a play date. They are literally a blur when they are together.

Logan is 55 pounds, 21 inches at the shoulder and has a tri-color coat. His coat is low maintenance, slightly wavy and ES teflon. He shows a strong guardian and nurturing behavior with young stock and children. He is an enthusiastic training partner (Put me in, Coach!) and an easy traveler. He is steady, confident, happy, outgoing and social, well mannered and affectionate. At 12 ½ years of age he is healthy and injury free. He is a very versatile dog and is currently training in advanced nose work, tracking, agility and stock work.

I was so pleased to be able to place Logan in a home where he could be evaluated and stay intact. He has the lighter bone build of his dam, Kira.  Logan is just what I was hoping for with the cross between Kira & Drover.

His performance titles include: AHBA HTADI-s,t, RLFI-t, HRDI-s, HRDII-s; NACSW ELT1; WCRL Rally Obedience ARCH, RL1/AOE, RL1X, RL2/AOE; ASCA RNX; CPE CL1-R, CL1; RATO; CGC

I expect this litter to produce tri-colors, as well as sable & whites (like Rae). I believe that these will be eager to please pups, but will also need owners who will set fair & consistent rules and be willing to work with their pup.
