Litter F Pups

Faith is named for a town in NC, located outside of Salisbury.  Faith appears to be a black masked tri-color.  Her tan is lightening up some and becoming more obvious.  The blaze will end up being a very thin stripe or perhaps non-existent when she is grown.  Faith is one of the bigger pups in the litter.

I can usually find Faith checking in with me after the pups have been off playing.  She seems to be a fairly calm, easy going little girl.  Faith is still a relatively calm, easy going girl.  The tan on her face is beginning to show a little more.  She will be making her home in Tar Heel, NC with the Henderson family.

Faye is short for Fayetteville, NC.  Fayetteville is the home to Fort Bragg.  Her nose is taking a little longer than some of her siblings to change to black, but by next week, it should be like everyone else's.  Faye is a lovely little tr-color with large shepherd spots over her eyes.

Faye continues to blossom and has discovered she has a willingness to explore whether the rest of the pack is with her or not.  She & Falcon usually pair up to go off on these jaunts.  Faye will be making her home with the Lent family in GA.

Flo is our only SC named pup, and is short for Florence.  Florence was the big town that we would go to for shopping when I was a child living in Marion, SC.   Florence is also close to where Flo's sire lives.  Flo also appears to be a black masked tri-color.  Her blaze will also be very small or non-existent when she is grown.

Flo is one of the leaders in exploration and of the group in general.  She is gentle with her people, but bold in her approach to the world. Flo will be making her home with the Perry family in CT.

Fontana is named for Fontana Dam located in the western part of NC.  This cutie sports a half collar.  She does have a little tan stripe under her tail, but I haven't seen any other tan showing up on her at this point.  I believe for all practical purposes, I will say that she is black & white.

Fontana was the first puppy to notice the sheep through the fence while we were doing the herding instinct test.  She is very interested in her surroundings & will stick up for herself if another pup tries to assert itself over her.  Fontana will be making her home with the McKinnie's in Fuquay-Varina, NC.  She won't be that far from home!

Falcon is a town located just off of 1-95 near Fayetteville, NC.  Falcon is the only pup in this litter who has a mostly b&t face.  The light strip on his muzzle will disappear. He is still considered a tricolor with his full white chest
and white feet.

Falcon is a super sweet boy.  I can usually find him right underfoot whether we are in the house or outside.  Falcon has become quite the explorer.  With more and more things to see, the world is a more exciting place than where I may be, unless I have the food pan.  Falcon will be making his home in MT with the Stricker family.

Fletcher is located in the mountains of NC.  This pretty tri-colored pup will have a blaze (but narrower) when he is grown.  Fletcher's tan is a lighter color tan than his siblings.  You can see some ticking beginning to show up in his muzzle.  Fletcher was the largest pup at birth weighing in at 1 pound.  He still maintains just a slight edge over a couple of the girls.

Fletcher is a sweet, good natured boy in most any situation.  Because he is a calm boy, he will be growing up with a family with a young child.  Fletcher will be making his home in the mountains of NC with the Wike family.

Frisco, NC is located on the Outer Banks.  This cute little boy also will sport a blaze when he is grown.  Frisco was one of the smallest pups at birth.  He has the tan under his tail, but like Fontana, has not shown any elsewhere on his body.  For the time being, I am calling Frisco's coloring black & white.

Frisco continues to be a leader, but loves to be with me to receive attention as well.  He answers not only to his name, but to the name of Sparky at times.  It has been interesting to watch him come flying around the end of the house when I call for Sparky.  None of the other pups answer to that name.  😉  The first time out at the herding instinct test looked like a washout for Frisco.  As you can see from the pictures, when he got a second chance, he really got into moving that lamb.  Frisco will be making his home in VA with the Sanderson/Manuel family.
