Seven
Seven of Nine - former Borg drone, served on the USS Voyager
Seven was the last puppy to be born & weighed in at 13 ounces. She is a black & white girl. She has the least amount of white on her face, but does have a white "cast" to the muzzle area. Her partial blaze will most likely disappear with age, but she has elbow length white stockings on her front legs, white on her chest, a small white tip on the tail & a partial collar across the back of her neck.

Here is one last look at the puppies before they headed off to their new homes.

Seven can be fun, playful, serious and an all around neat puppy to hang around with during the day. She is still quick to sit because she knows it will get her out of the pen first! Seven did show interest in the ducks at Claire's place & was okay being with Claire out in the pen. She also experienced fun things over at Autumn Winds, but most of those photos just didn't turn out very good. Most of the time Seven is a fairly quiet girl. I still see a lot of her Granny Bec in her, which is a good thing. Seven will be making her home on a horse farm in PA where she will also get to visit and play with her older sister, on a fairly regular basis.

One of the great things about being a breeder is that I can see traits come out in the pups that I have seen in their kin. Such is the case with Seven. There are a lot of good things I can say about Seven. She reminds me so much of her mom and her grandmother Bec. The shot of Seven under the tree is where she is trying to grab the leaves. Think about that for a moment. The puppy is aware of things above her before she turned 6 weeks old. Bec was always on the lookout for predatory birds & squirrels. I think Seven might follow in those footsteps. In general, Seven is a quieter pup (as pups can be) who was one of the first to figure out sitting gets you out of the pen first. She is a super sweet pup.

Seven is developing into a lovely little girl. The more I see of her, the more I can appreciate her. She will look a lot like her mother when grown, not only in markings, but most likely head shape as well. Currently, Seven is one of the quieter pups & seems to be one of my thinkers of the group. It's fun to watch them figure new things out, even as young as they are.
