Coharie – Litter V

Coharie

Native American tribe who descended from the Tuscarora nation in NC. The name means Drifwood. More information may be found here.

Coharie was the second puppy to be born and weighed in at 12 ounces. I am not sure yet what her coloring will be, so will be watching her over the next few weeks. It could be that she will be black and white, or possibly her coat will develop into seal or even a ghost tri, like her mother. She has a 3/4 collar - it doesn't quite connect on the right side, white muzzle, blaze, long white stocking on the right front leg, ankle length on the left front leg, back legs are ankle length and a medium length white tip on the tail. You can see she has a black spot on the top of her head. This will eventually fill in to connect one side to the other on the top of her head.

Coharie usually carries her tail over on top of her back - literally - the tip is laying on top of her back. In general, she seems to be an observer/thinker, so may not be involved in every interaction that takes place within the litter. She is quite a love bug - enjoys being held, snuggled and gives kisses. While she does have some of the brown shading, at this point I am not convinced she has a seal coat. I am leaning more in the direction of a ghost tri, like her mom.
