This will be Holly's final litter.  The litter is due around February 20, 2018.

Holly has a delightful sense of humor and enjoys being and working with her people. She is a quiet herder and has worked mainly with sheep at our trainer’s house. She is quick and responsive when training for agility or just playing ball at home. Since her daddy has retired from agility, she is my main partner and has earned her AGI & AGII agility titles. She is currently working on her UACH title where she has to earn 100 points for the title. After 2 trials, she is just needs 13 more points! She has a super temperament & possesses the good sense know how to help enforce the “good” rules at our house. Always alerts to strangers, roaming animals, snakes and predatory birds, plus is a great varmint eradicator. She has proven herself to be a great mom with her previous litters.

Zeke is a sable and white boy whose pedigree is 3/4 Cedar Creek lines and the remaining 1/4 goes back to my 2004 litter between Becca & Rex through his grandsire, Sawyer.  So while this is somewhat of an outcross with the Cedar Creek lines, there is a little bit of linebreeding back to my foundation female.

From Mike:  Zeke is a four year old shaded sable and white English Shepherd. He has a very calm and loving disposition. While he is comfortable as a pet companion, he also displays good working instincts and will work stock when asked. He has a loose eye and upright approach choosing in most cases to use bark rather than bite to enforce the rules. His limited experience is mostly with cattle and poultry. He is very biddable especially when one-on-one with his master. He is energetic and a very fast runner. Displaying some guardian instinct, he will stand his ground with other animals in his domain. He is alert and will bark as a warning when something is out of order but not incessantly. Overall, he is a lover and a pleaser.

Brian & I originally went to visit Mike Mayo and meet Zeke back in March of 2016.  The thing that was very obvious to both of us was Zeke's calmness and the ability to interact with strangers after initial introductions.  Zeke is still very much like this in 2018.  We both very much liked Zeke's calm demeanor.

I am expecting a sable & white litter.  With Zeke & Holly's original litter in 2016, there were only 3 girls, but all were some shade of sable. I would expect the same sort of coloring with this litter. We have been able to observe Roper over the past year and a half since she was the pup off of that litter that we kept. The 2016 litter was an extremely nice litter.
