I have been watching Marigold from afar since she & her littermates arrived in 2013. This was a special litter because it was a line bred litter on Dillon. As I watched the girls grow up, it became apparent to me that Marigold was the one who looked the most like her daddy. From what Jane told me, it seemed that Marigold was very much like her Granny Bec in temperament, which was a good thing, since Marigold & Jane live in New York City. Jane & I had talked off & on about the possibility of breeding Marigold at some point. I felt that it could be an important breeding since she was from that line bred litter. With the passing of Dillon in 2018, it became a little more imperative that "if" we were going to do this, then it needed to take place.

I am thrilled to say that a breeding did take place and that Marigold is currently at my house for the next several months. I am seeing first hand that indeed, she has her daddy's head and smile! She has her Granny Bec's easy going personality, temperament & body type. Marigold is a lovely soul, inside and out and I am relishing the time that I have to spend with her.

Descriptions of Marigold from her owner, Jane:  Curious, adaptable to city, suburban, and country life, thoughtful, extremely biddable, kind, gentle, loves meeting new people & exploring new places, considerate of other dogs, does not need to dominate, not bossy, but can be opinionated & incredibly determined & focused. Will have your back if necessary. Does not miss a thing. Super fast learner. Strong Velcro trait. Typically very trustworthy off leash. As a very young puppy, she was somewhat of a wild child - super bitey & hard to deter - but quickly outgrew that tendency. Can be sensitive - almost psychic. Responds best to praise & reward training. Loves to feel needed, having a job.
